Chapter 4 Section 2

Patrick Henry was known as a fiery speaker and a radical leader before he said "give me liberty or give me death". He was a lawyer from Virginia.

Patrick Henry meant that he wanted freedom and independance by saying "give me liberty or give me death" He says that there is no peace, as long as a war is going on, and that they shouldn't just stnd there and do nothing about it. He would've rather died than not have independance. He'd rather die than not have his natural rights.
